With over 25 years of experience playing, writing, recording, and performing music, Mark can help you take the next steps in your musical journey.

Mark Catalano is an American multi-instrumentalist music teacher, singer-songwriter, composer, producer, husband, and dad.

Born and Raised in Youngstown, Ohio, Mark’s focus has always been music.

By the time Mark was 21, he had already toured nationally, performed on TV and radio, and released three albums with his first band.

Mark has had the privilege of playing with many great artists such as Dave Grohl, Paramore, The Gin Blossoms, Hanson, and Lee DeWyze (American Idol Winner, season 9).

After moving to Los Angeles in 2009, he also began composing. He created the scores for several commercials and films, two of which won Mark awards at film festivals. Most recently, in 2023, Mark had the privilege of licensing two songs to the TV show Kung Fu on the CW network.

Teaching in LA, Mark has worked with numerous well-known clients in the entertainment industry, and several of Mark’s up-and-coming students have already gone on to have successful careers of their own in music and film.

At this point, Mark has been playing professionally and teaching for 17+ years to students of all ages, from 3 to 73.
